Inconceivably rich. In 1922, Surrenne filled an oak tonneau with its very old cognacs from the Petite Champagne region. Every year since, Surrenne's successive cellar-masters have topped the tonneau, always with old petite champagne of very high quality.
Never drawn down, this entirely unique solera-like blend contains a very high proportion of cognac aged more than 100 years. The averag age probably approaches 150 years. Cellared at Surrenne's Madame facility in Jarnac and bottled unfiltered, directly from Tonneau No. 1. Classic, simple packaging. 200 bottles per year.
