Deep layers of ripe plums, warm black cherries and wild berries are characteristic of the Merlot grapes grown on the Emmolo's Galleron Road and River Ranch vineyard sites in the Rutherford District. To showcase these distinctive flavors, winemaker Bob Pepi extracted optimal color and flavor while maintaining refined and balanced tannins. To add another dimension to the wine
and elevate the richness, Pepi blended in 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. A blend of 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. adds dimension and highlights the rich intense fruit leading to a well-defined finish.
