Vintage 2007- 93 Points , Wine Enthusiast
"There’s a lot of complex, youthful charm in this Cabernet-based wine, which was grown in both of St. Supery’s estate vineyards, Rutherford and Dollarhide. It’s very rich and ripe in blackberries, cassis, blueberries and dark chocolate, with a savory spiciness. This really defines the Napa style, and demonstrates the great success of the 2007 vintage."
Wonderful harmony, intensity and concentration of cherry-vanilla, rose petal and cassis are found in the aroma. On the palate juicy blackberry, red currant and black cherry notes are well balanced and rich without being overpowering. Ripe and supple tannins finish long and lingering. This is a beautiful wine that will only improve over the next few years.
